Description:

Rana Sweis participated as a speaker at the QARIB Regional Media Meetup in Amman, joining the session “Increasing Your Audience: Digital Marketing Strategies.” The discussion focused on strategies for expanding audiences and driving growth, including how media organizations can strengthen their online presence, engage target audiences, and use digital tools effectively. Sweis joined Mohammad Basim of Yalla/Iraq and Jean Kassir of Megaphone/Lebanon on the panel. The regional meetup was implemented by Canal France International (CFI) and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), bringing together media professionals from Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine.

Germany and Jordan: Between Crises in the Middle East and Challenges for Democracy — Jordanian Delegation to Germany

Rana Sweis was part of a Jordanian delegation participating in a week-long dialogue program organized by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. The delegation met with German policymakers, researchers, civil society representatives, and political institutions to discuss German-Jordanian relations, the Gaza war and its regional repercussions, political reform and youth participation in Jordan, and challenges facing democracy in Germany.
